The newest creation from Duckhorn, Decoy Limited!! Combining mountain and valley floor fruit from the most acclaimed wine regions in Napa Valley, including Rutherford, Yountville, Atlas Peak, Stag’s Leap and St. Helena.
2018 offered near picture-perfect growing conditions. The excellent growing conditions naturally resulted in a slightly larger than average crop where each block could be picked at optimal ripeness, yielding exceptionally juicy, plush fruit with well-rounded tannins, and lovely overall structure.
This stunning Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, intricate and delicious. On the palate, classic flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, cassis, dark chocolate and violets are framed by silky tannins and a lovely underlying energy that draws the wine to a bright, juicy finish. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot aged 14 monthis in 40% new French oak. Grab this while you can and don't wait because it is, well...limited!
